Pickleball Tournament Sponsorship: How SYNLY Can Support Events With 40-Hole and 48-Hole Balls
SYNLY can support pickleball tournaments and community events with 40-hole or 48-hole balls, subject to event rules, quantities, branding and availability.

Pickleball tournaments need more than courts and brackets. Organizers also need a reliable supply of balls, a clear replacement plan and equipment that fits the event format. Sponsorship can help reduce part of that operating burden while giving a manufacturer useful feedback from real play.
SYNLY is open to discussing pickleball tournament sponsorship and event cooperation. Depending on the event, we may provide 40-hole or 48-hole pickleballs as sponsored products. Every proposal is reviewed individually because the right ball, quantity, branding, shipping schedule and approval requirements depend on the event.
WHAT CAN A PICKLEBALL BALL SPONSORSHIP INCLUDE?
A sponsorship does not need to follow one fixed package. Possible cooperation may include:
• 40-hole balls for eligible match, practice or warm-up use
• 48-hole development balls for evaluation, demonstrations or non-sanctioned play
• Backup and replacement balls for agreed event activities
• Custom colors, logos or packaging when the schedule and quantity allow
• Sample packs for selected players, coaches or event partners
• A documented post-event feedback program
The final arrangement depends on event size, location, timing, product availability and the value each side can contribute. Submitting a request does not guarantee free products or a particular sponsorship quantity.
CHOOSING BETWEEN 40-HOLE AND 48-HOLE BALLS
The ball should be selected according to the event rules and intended use, not only because a product is new or visually distinctive.
40-hole pickleballs
A 40-hole ball is the more familiar option for outdoor play, club competitions and many tournament formats. Organizers can discuss stock or customized 40-hole balls for matches, practice courts, warm-ups, participant packs or sponsor activities.
If an event is sanctioned by a governing body, the organizer must verify that the exact brand and model selected for official matches appears on the current approved-ball list. A 40-hole configuration alone does not prove approval.
48-hole pickleballs
SYNLY currently has a solid yellow 48-hole development sample available for evaluation, and all colors can be customized for OEM projects. September batch production is planned, subject to final specifications, sample feedback and scheduling. Development is focused on consistent rebound and better durability.
Under current USA Pickleball equipment requirements, a 48-hole ball should not be described as approved for USA Pickleball-sanctioned competition. It may still be considered for non-sanctioned tournaments, private events, demonstrations, recreational side activities, practice sessions or structured product trials when the organizer clearly explains its status.
MATCH SPONSORSHIP TO THE EVENT FORMAT
Before choosing a sponsorship product, define where the balls will actually be used:
• Official tournament matches
• Practice or warm-up courts
• Beginner clinics
• Exhibition games
• Community or corporate events
• Player sample packs
• Product-testing sessions
• Sponsor displays or giveaways
This distinction protects players, organizers and sponsors. A ball suitable for a product trial should not automatically be presented as the official competition ball.
HOW TO PREPARE A SPONSORSHIP REQUEST
- Event identity
Provide the event name, organizer, website or social page, location and confirmed date. Explain whether it is a first-year event or part of an established series.
- Competition status
State whether the event is sanctioned, non-sanctioned, recreational, corporate, charity-based or invitation-only. Include the governing body and equipment rules if official approval is required.
- Player and court numbers
Share the expected number of players, courts, divisions, match days and practice sessions. These figures help estimate a realistic ball requirement and replacement reserve.
- Intended ball use
Clarify whether the sponsored balls are requested for official matches, warm-ups, clinics, demonstrations, testing or participant gifts. If different activities need different products, list them separately.
- Branding and content
Describe any requested ball color, logo, packaging or event message. Explain what visibility is available, such as sponsor listings, court signage, product tables, tagged social content, photographs or a post-event report. Visibility should be agreed in writing rather than assumed.
- Delivery details
Provide the destination, required arrival date, receiving contact and any import or local handling requirements. International shipping time and customs clearance must be considered before a commitment is made.
WHAT FEEDBACK IS USEFUL AFTER THE EVENT?
Useful ball feedback includes the court surface and weather, approximate play time per ball, rebound consistency, flight, roundness, visibility, softening, deformation or cracking, and player comments tied to a specific sample or batch.
Photos and short videos can support the report, but clear conditions and sample identification matter more than general praise. SYNLY welcomes both positive and critical feedback because the purpose is to improve product decisions and manufacturing consistency.
A PRACTICAL SPONSORSHIP REVIEW PROCESS
- The organizer sends the event brief and requested use.
- SYNLY reviews product fit, quantities, timing and approval requirements.
- Both sides confirm the ball specification, sponsorship scope, shipping responsibility and agreed visibility.
- Samples are evaluated before the event when time and product status require it.
- The organizer records distribution, use and post-event feedback.
No event should advertise SYNLY as an official sponsor until both sides have confirmed the cooperation in writing.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can SYNLY sponsor pickleball tournaments?
Yes. SYNLY is open to reviewing tournament, club, community and product-testing sponsorship proposals. Approval and quantity depend on the event, requested products, schedule, destination and cooperation plan.
Can sponsored balls include both 40-hole and 48-hole models?
Potentially, yes. A proposal may include 40-hole balls, 48-hole development balls or both, but each model should have a clearly defined use within the event.
Can 48-hole balls be used as the official match ball?
That depends on the event rules. Under current USA Pickleball requirements, a 48-hole ball should not be represented as approved for sanctioned competition. It can be discussed for non-sanctioned play, demonstrations, practice or product trials.
Can event balls be customized?
Color, logo and packaging customization may be available, subject to feasibility, quantity, artwork approval and lead time. SYNLY's 48-hole ball can be customized in all colors, with the physical color sample and batch tolerance confirmed before production.
Does sponsorship mean all products and shipping are free?
Not automatically. Product quantity, customization costs, international freight, duties and other responsibilities must be agreed for each event.
